Since February 15th, the new administrator and user portal – SecuMail-Web, replaces its predecessor, which has been with us for many years.

The look and feel now looks fresh and modern, and it also makes it easier to use thanks to a more intuitive design. In addition, new functions have been implemented that offer our customers even more possibilities.

The most important innovations in the overview:

• Optimized search: The redesign of the mail search makes it much easier and faster to get to the desired search result. For this purpose, search criteria have been expanded and accelerated (e.g. Message ID, size in KB/MB and much more).
• More features for administrators: For example, administrators now have the option of managing their domains themselves.
• Redesigned user and security concept: The portal now has a completely revised login mechanism and is state-of-the-art. In addition, there is now extended rights management. This can be used to determine which authorization level a certain user should have.

• Now also operable on mobile phone or tablet: The new responsive design makes operation on smaller screen sizes and devices much easier.

• Accessibility: In order to quickly find your way around the new environment, the new SecuMail Web provides information fields as support. Consequently, the portal is intuitive to use for both new and old customers.

The range of functions of the old portal is of course still available.

Result

In summary, there are many changes and also additional features that make the new administrator and user portal more modern and intuitive.

In addition to these new features, another big advantage is that we can now implement new features much more easily. Our roadmap is already filled with many practical features for our customers, which we can now implement quickly. Full multi-client capability, as one of the next milestones, should be of particular interest to our system integrators. We are also planning, for example, the AD login for users at SecuMail-Plus.
